This shot is important to me, because it perfectly expresses my artistic vision, which is to highlight what humans neglect, but also to show how nature quickly reclaims its rights. The title makes perfect sense, because it describes the situation perfectly. A car wreck from another era, submerged by rust and the greenery that is gradually devouring it. Many people don't stop to look at such scenes, leaving them to decay without paying any attention. But I think it's vital to immortalise these neglected places, because they're doomed to disappear, and this heritage deserves to be showcased one last time before it turns to dust. |
