Germany Nominee Children of the World Professional "Freedom" Child running home on Maui. The image captures the freedom and happiness of childhood. For the first three years in the Big Apple I worked as a freelance photo assistant for many different New York based photographers. In 1999 I took on a full time first assistant position for Peter Arnell/The Arnell Group. It was a great opportunity to work on large scale commercial shoots. I left assisting behind me in 2001 and for the following 12 years worked as a freelance photographer in the city, specializing in portrait and music photography. In 2013, after having spent 17 years in the States I decided to move back to Germany. Today I live and work in Berlin. |
