These young women begin to learn to carry the flag at a very young age . It is part of being in a rodeo family. They travel from rodeo to rodeo and some arenas have as many as 12 girls they can call on. This young flag girl also rides the bulls and breaks broncs. This is a tradtion that often is handed down from mother to daughter. |
