The experience was so surreal for me. Sitting at the end of this long sterilized table with this somber man making sure we all felt my mother’s remains were in capable hands. I cannot say what possessed me to take a picture at this inopportune time but I am glad I did. I feel my mom laughing at it all.

This lady is a beggar, she has approached to beg for money but at first I was refusing to give her any; all a sudden I saw the natural light bounce on the wall and highlight the beauty on her face. Without any questioning i gave her money and asking if she can stand close to the wall and pose to me with her natural smile.
