Maak Roberts was born in 1972 and spent his childhood and adolescence in Germany, Australia, England and France. He is now based in London and Berlin. His photography is more often than not based on conceptual ideas. Known for a bright, colourful, yet real, look and a sense of humour, he combines props and setbuild with retouching. At the same time he manages to give a natural and uncontrived feel to people / portrait photography. |
