Lopez has received a number of awards including The Black & White Spider Awards, Photography Masters Cup International, International Photography Color Awards and her work has appeared in numerous publications. Selected exhibitions include the Martha Schneider Gallery in Chicago, the Chicago Project-Catherine Edelman Gallery, Fotoweek DC, The Julia Margaret Cameron International exhibition in Buenos Aires, AR, Malaga, Spain, China and Latvia.
