Title:Kumbh Mela- Holy Bath
Thousands of Naga Sadhus or naked holy men. A martial order of ascetics who roam naked with ash smeared on their bodies, dancing and singing moved in a procession with religious leaders sitting atop decorated chariots for holy bath in the confluence of three sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati to cleanse them of sin and liberate them from the cycle of life, death and rebirth. This is the most auspicious 'Royal Bath' on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, the new moon day and most significant bathing day in the 50-day long kumbh mela at Prayagraj, India.
