Biography:
Award-winning photographer, Gillian Marshall has an innate passion for South Asia, which she believes is the legacy of her late uncle, who, in the 1930's, served as a British Political Officer in Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim. Gillian spends most of her time in the beautiful World Heritage town of Luang Prabang, Laos, where she serves as a volunteer English teacher, works part-time at one of the town's beautiful 5-star hotels, and discovers colorful opportunities for photographing the life around her.
