Biography:
I’m Marijke Stroucken (1962), an independant Dutch photographer, working on long-term projects that explore social, political and contemporary affairs.
As a committed feminist, I’m especially drawn to themes that affect women and minorities.
I believe in the power of still images to make people think, and in the positive impact that photojournalists and documentary photographers have on the world.
