Pan troglodyte, or Chimpanzee live in social groups consisting of males, females and their babies. Communication is through grooming, facial expression, physical display and verbal hoots.
Biography:
Jennifere Thompson is an Australian photographer specialising in wildlife and wild animal portraits. Jennifere is also the founder of the project ICU TOO, a continuous print exhibition from 2014-2023. The project is about the parallel expressions primates share with humans. ICU TOO images are dark and most often void of background so that humans will look closely into the face of the primate and wonder about the parallel emotions they share. Jennifere has travelled to Rwanda, Tanzania and Borneo to photograph animals in the wild, as well as in sanctuaries and human-adapted wildlife parks,... |
