Marc Santos (b. 1974) is a photographer whose work challenges conventional ideas of clarity and focus. Using blur, motion, and long exposure, he creates images that hold multiple moments in time, evoking movement, emotion, and ambiguity.
Drawing inspiration from sources including John Coltrane and Edgar Degas, Santos employs techniques such as intentional camera movement, lens manipulation, and prolonged exposure to expand how a photograph can be experienced. His work invites viewers to engage through perception rather than detail.
