Title:Love
ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE Robert Indiana's "LOVE" stands for the pop art of the 1960s. The message could be found as a poster on room walls all over the world at the time. "Love" contributed to my enthusiasm for graphics and design. 30 years later, in the mid-1990s, when I was working as a jewelry designer, I incorporated "LOVE" into six pieces of silver jewelry. It was also meant to be a tribute to Indiana. Another 30 years later, in June 2024, I was at "The Sweet Mystery", a Robert Indian exhibition in Venice. This photo was taken there. Biography: Michael Eckart has spent significant time in Japan, Bali, and other parts of Asia, but Venice now feels like home. From a young age, he aspired to be a photographer or designer, always drawn to creativity. However, these passions did not take center stage in his career until much later. In the 1960s, he began designing window displays and creating objects for visual merchandising. During this time, MoMA requested some of his designs for an exhibition on contemporary design in New York.
