Portrait of my dad. He was definitely in charge, and did what he wanted. It was the first idea I had for the “Jack” series, which are a group of photos I created that represent a caricature of him
Biography:
I create photos that visually communicate personalities, brands, and ideas. Specializing in narrative-driven portraiture and lifestyle, my imagery can be quirky with a skewed sense of reality.
The framework of my photography draws from time spent working as a photojournalist, coupled with studying conceptual commercial photography. The style of my imagery draws inspiration from Guy Bourdin, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Annie Leibovitz, James Nachtway, Damon Winter, Chris Buck (just to name a few).
I believe a photograph has a split-second to make an impact, it should seduce the viewer... |
