Title:Decide moment
The Khmer young monks are working at Wat Kampong Chray (Hang) temple. Wat Kampong Chray is one of the 141 Theravada Buddhist temples of the ancient Khmer ethnic minority in Tra Vinh province, located in Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province, Viet Nam. The temple built in the year of 1637, large 7.000 m2, was destroyed almost completely in the war, 1968. Over 40 years of rebuild, Kampong Chray now is the famous place welcome many tourist every year.
Biography:
Viet Van Tran (b. 1971, Ha Noi, Vietnam) graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from Ha Noi Cultural University in 1996. He began his career as a journalist and is currently a special reporter for Lao Dong newspaper, one of Vietnam’s leading national publications.
Tran has held ten solo exhibitions, including My Mum at the Photometria Festival (Greece), and has participated in more than eighty-five group shows across Asia, Europe, and the USA — notably The Fifth Exposure Annual Awards (digital showcase at the Louvre Museum, France).
