									Biography:
Klaus Pfeiffer was born in Dortmund, Germany, where he still resides. Even at a very young age he spent time exploring his interest in photographing manipulated realities. His main source of inspiration is the Greek philosopher Plato and his Allegory of the Cave, through which Plato suggests that the material world as it seems to us is not the real world, but only an image or copy of the real world. Plato describes a scenario in which what people take to be real would in fact be an illusion. In Klaus's artwork he's exploring the cave and searching for the truth. |
