Title:Entangled Squares
A couple of trees blocked the view of a building courtyard, but around the corner I had a clear view of the same structure. So I combined the two into this overgrown composition.
Biography:
Geometric patterns, rhythm and lines are driving forces in my work. What fascinates me in photography is the interplay between realistic registration and geometric abstraction. This is why I often choose to photograph (elements of) architecture. Apart from its functions (housing, office space, contemplation), architecture also has a graphical, abstract dimension which is a primary focus of my photography. |
